Tell us about yourself, and about THE INCREDIBLE STORY OF SANTA SCORESE.
I'm an Italian director, I've always been involved in audiovisual, turning my passion into work. I deeply love cinema and I like to treat, through it, social issues like in the movie the incredible story of Santa Scorese, inspired by the true story of the first stalking and femicide victim recognized in Italy.
Share a memorable moment you experienced working on this project.
The harmony that united us all on the set and off the set, made sure that every moment was memorable because lived with affection, sympathy and sharing.
Name 3 collaborators that you'd take with you to any other project.
It is difficult to restrict to three people, I would certainly bring my wife Assunta D'Elia, screenwriter of the film, my friend and collaborator Onofrio Petragallo and actor Alfredo Traversa, who also won the New York Film Awards for Best Actor, which, for years he brought the story of Santa Scorese to the theater as an actor and director.
3 tips you’d like to share with aspiring artists in your field:
a) Believe in your abilities, pursuing your dreams with tenacity and patience.
b) Work with so much effort and seriousness.
c) Establishing a family relationship with cast and crew is essential for good results.
What do you hope to achieve in your career in the next 5 years?
I hope to be able to make films with stories that are always engaging to help us reflect on human behavior.
