Meet the Finalist: Olivier Hémon, "The Role of a Lifetime"

Tell us about yourself, and about The Role of a Lifetime.

A few words. Marc SAEZ gave me the joy of trusting me and here I am to share this wonderful adventure. I had the pleasure of making 18 films as an actor with my old comrade Jean-Pierre Mocky. He was a madman, a madman. I loved him. I loved flirting with his camera. A huge director who taught me everything.

Share a memorable moment you experienced working on this project.

The memorable moment for me was the exchange, sharing and acting intensity of Véronique PICCIOTTO. We were connected. And Marc was on the lookout for everything and very respectful and precise in what he wanted about our 2 characters.

Name 3 collaborators that you'd take with you to any other project.

Marc Saez, Véronique Picciotto and Félicie Pasotti ( a young director who fights with masters in cinema)

3 tips you’d like to share with aspiring artists in your field:

Have fun. Laugh. Be focused.

What do you hope to achieve in your career in the next 5 years?

I would like to continue modestly to turn, play at the Theatre and write, again and again.

Olivier Hémon is nominated for Best Actor of the Year at the New York Film Awards.
