I’m Tarek a cinematographer hailing from Cairo, Egypt and now based in Brooklyn, NY.

Share a memorable moment you experienced working on this project.

We had a lot of fun on this project. Since we were all in the same hotel we'd all gather after we wrap every day and open a few cold beers and we'd laugh and talk about how the day went. This created a chill and calm mood between people and different departments.

3 tips you’d like to share with aspiring artists in your field:

Don’t be afraid or ashamed of failure, learn from these trials and improve on your methods & concepts and finally have fun #YOLO.

What do you hope to achieve in your career in the next 5 years?

As now I’m more focused on color grading I hope/plan to get more opportunities like this film to hone my skills & create powerful and expressive images that help directors tell their stories.
